Dot NET Domain Name Registrations
When the Dot NET generic domain name extension was initially set up in 1985, along with the first domain extensions on the Internet, it was planned to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure establishments. Taking into consideration that there were no special prerequisites about the usage of the TLD, though, dot NET domains were booked and used for different purposes and by a huge number of people. This extension represents a great substitution for dot COM, notably if the wanted domain with the latter TLD is not free for registration.
